With the initiative of the Embassy of Georgia to Qatar and in cooperation with the Qatari and Georgian Posts, joint postage stamps were launched marking the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Georgia and Qatar.
On June 18, 2023, Ambassador of Georgia to Qatar H E Nikoloz Revazishvili and Chairman of Qatar Post Faleh Mohammed Al Nuaimi jointly presented postage stamps dedicated to the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Georgia and Qatar.
Ambassador of Georgia expressed gratitude to the Qatari side for close cooperation.
The significance of the work done in the history of relations between the Georgian and Qatari people was emphasised.
It was noted that the joint postage stamp, on which the landmarks of the capitals of Georgia and Qatar are depicted, is another symbol of friendly relations between the two countries.
