Gaza: Eight Palestinians were martyred and several others injured on Thursday in Israeli occupation airstrikes that targeted displacement tents and civilian gatherings in various areas across Gaza City.
Medical sources reported that four people were martyred and others wounded in a strike on a tent sheltering displaced individuals on Al-Jalaa Street, near Al-Saraya junction in Al-Rimal neighborhood in central Gaza City.
Another Palestinian was martyred in an Israeli occupation attack on a mobile phone charging station near Al-Amal Hotel on Omar Al-Mukhtar Street in the western part of the city.
In a separate incident, three Palestinians were killed and several injured in a strike targeting a group of civilians near Al-Zaytoun police station in eastern Gaza City.
According to the Ministry of Health, a total of 82 people were martyred and dozens injured in Israeli occupation air raids across Gaza Strip since dawn on Thursday.
The ongoing Israeli aggression on Gaza, which began on October 7, 2023, has so far claimed the lives of 55,706 Palestinians and left 130,101 injured.
The ministry added that over the past 24 hours alone, 69 people were martyred and 221 injured. Since the Israeli breach of the ceasefire agreement on March 18, the death toll has risen to 5,401, with 18,060 injured.
