Doha, Qatar: The Qatar Stars League has announced the schedule for first half of the top flight Qatar Stars League 2026-27 season which begins on August 20th.
The dates and timings of matches for the first three weeks have been finalised. The schedule for matches from week four through week eleven will be updated after the final schedule for club competitions and the national team’s matches is released.
In the opening match of the new season, Al Wakrah will meet Qatar SC at the Lusail Stadium on August 20th (Thursday) at 5.15pm while Al Rayyan will meet the newly-promoted Lusail at Ahmad Bin Ali at 7.30pm the same day.
The opening week will also see Al Gharaf play Al Shahania on Friday (August 21) at 5.15pm at the Khalifa International Stadium while Al Arabi will meet Al Shamal at Al Thumama Stadium at 7.30pm.
On Saturday (August 22), Al Duhail will play Al Sailiya at Al Bayt Stadium at 5.15pm followed by defending champions Al Sadd meeting Al Ahli at the Jassim Bin Hamad Stadium at 7.30pm.
QSL said, it continues to coordinate with clubs participating in continental and regional tournaments to ensure the league schedule aligns with their international commitments.
