DOHA: Qatar Exchange pursued its upswing trend on Monday adding 128.55 points (1.30 percent) advance to 10,038.40 points from 9,909.85 when trading closed on Sunday.
The volume of the shares traded rose to 11,827,985 from 5,798,919 on Sunday and the value of shares increased to QR400,198,656.38 from QR220,511,731.94 Sunday.
Among the top gainers were Barwa Real Estate which was up 2.59 percent to QR25.70 , Gulf International gained 2.63 percent to QR50.80, Al khalij Commercial Bank gained 2.86 percent to QR17.60 and Mazaya Real Estate Company up by 2.58 percent to QR11.94.
The Banking and Financial sector index was added 1.19 points while Consumer Goods and Services sector index up 0.58 points. The industrial sector was gained 1.08 points while insurance sector rose 1.24 points.(QNA)
