Nukualofa, Tonga: An earthquake measuring 6.4 magnitude on the Richter scale struck the Pacific island of Tonga on Saturday.
According to the US Geological Survey (USGS), the quake hit 500 km west of that island, but there was also no immediate tsunami warning.
There were also no immediate reports of any casualties or damage.
