DOHA: Qatar Exchange pursued its upswing trend on Thursday adding 37.80 points or 0.38 percent to advance to 9,870.90 points from 9,833.10 on Wednesday.
The volume of the shares traded up to 6,459,146 from 5,917,049 on Wednesday and the value of shares increased to QR319,222,967.97 from QR258,647,075.01 Wednesday.
Among the top gainers were Ooredoo which was up 1.26 percent to QR144.90, Masraf Al Rayan gained 0.51 percent to QR29.70, Barwa Real Estate gained 0.58 percent to QR25.85 and Vodafone Qatar up by 0.33 percent to QR9.13.
The Banking and Financial sector index was added 0.14 points while Consumer Goods and Services sector index up 0.93 points.
The industrial sector was gained 0.20 points while insurance sector added 0.39 points. (QNA)
