DOHA: The Public Works Authority (Ashghal) has announced a traffic diversion on West Industrial Street from Roundabout 10 towards Roundabout 2.
The diversion will be implemented from tomorrow and will continue until the permanent street is completed.
The other side of the street, carrying traffic in the opposite direction, has been widened to a two-way road. This is to enable smooth flow of traffic in both directions during the roadworks.
The new diversion is part of the first phase of the Doha Industrial Area project undertaken by Ashghal. The project aims to increase the capacity of roads and support traffic flow, besides providing the area with integral infrastructure.
