Hussain Saeed Haidan claimed opening day honours as the ninth season of the Qatar Equestrian Tour - Longines Hathab got underway with thrilling action at the Qatar Equestrian Federation's indoor arena yesterday. Haidan looked in sizzling form aboard D Saucedo, clocking 25.05 seconds to win the Bronze Tour (120cm).
Jaber Rashid Al Ameri secured second place on Apollon (26.50s) while Khalid Al Hadi finished third aboard Doremi (28.15s). In the team event of the same class, The Dome emerged victorious with a combined time of 61.54 seconds, followed by Shahalil Al Shaqab (68.06s) and Ghazal Al Shaqab (71.26s). Meanwhile, Joud Bassam Elaker won the Amateur Class (100cm), with Abdulaziz Abdulla Alabri and Mohammed Abdulla Al Marri finishing second and third respectively.
