Doha: The Indian Community Benevolent Forum (ICBF) in its general council meeting held yesterday at IICC agreed to proceed with starting of a counselling centre for students, parents and workers from the community.
It also decided to start a group insurance scheme for the community members with a coverage of QR100,000.
The meeting was presided over by ICBF President, P N Baburajan, in the presence of Second Secretary at the Embassy of India, Dr. Sona Soman. Vice-President, Mahesh Gowda, welcomed the audience and General-Secretary, Avinash Gaikwad, presented the brief activity report of last 9 months. Treasurer Nivedita Ketkar presented the synopsis of accounts so far.
