Doha: Qatar affirmed its commitment to cooperate in order to reach a comprehensive international convention on countering the use of information and communications technologies (ICT) for criminal purposes.
Before the Conference of the Parties to the United Nations Convention against Transnational Organised Crime convened in Vienna, Advisor to the Minister of Interior H E Major General Dr. Abdullah Yousuf Al Mal called for strengthening the efforts to countering the challenges of the transnational organised crime, and the associated corruption, narcotics, money laundering and terrorism.
He hailed the efforts of the committee in charge of the development of this convention.
