Kabul: The Afghan Ministry of Refugees and Repatriation signed six memorandums of understanding (MoUs) with leading domestic and international aid agencies, the ministry said in a statement Sunday.
Allocating over 1.48 million U.S. dollars to assist returning refugees and internally displaced families across multiple provinces, the deals will benefit more than 6,947 families and 88,237 individuals, according to the statement.
The funds will support the construction of permanent shelters, cash assistance, food items, nutritional supplies, as well as educational and health packages.
