General Authority of Customs launches strategic plan 2024-2030

Doha, Qatar: The General Authority of Customs revealed its 2024-2030 strategic plan, part of its ongoing efforts to strengthen its key role in protecting society, supporting the national economy, and advancing the customs system.

This will be carried out through a roadmap to be implemented over the coming years, aligning with the objectives of the Third National Development Strategy and contributing to the realization of the Qatar National Vision 2030.

Chairman of the General Authority of Customs HE Ahmed bin Abdullah Al-Jamal, launched the plan under the slogan "Future Customs Efficiency and Security for a Sustainable Economy," in the presence of his assistants and several department directors.

The 2024 2030 Strategic Plan is built on a clear vision of "Secure and Smart Customs - Regional Leadership - Global Competitiveness," and a mission centered on "providing innovative and smart customs services with a competitive advantage that meets sustainable development requirements by enhancing national security, protecting the local community, facilitating legitimate trade, supplying the state treasury with revenues, and collecting commercial data."
