DOHA: HE the Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Sheikh Hamad bin Jassim bin Jabor Al Thani received Monday a message from Prime Minister of Saint Lucia Kenny Anthony, who is also the Chairman of the Caribbean Community Development Fund (CARICOM). The message dealt with bilateral relations between the State of Qatar and CARICOM.
Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of State of Cabinet Affair Ahmed bin Abdullah was handed over the message today during a meeting with the Chief Executive of CARICOM Lorne McDonnough.
During the meeting they reviewed the goals, activities and projects of the fund and also exchanged views on how to strengthen bilateral ties between the State of Qatar and the Caribbean Community.
A number of officials from the Qatari Cabinet's General-Secretariat attended the meeting.
HE the Premier meets Governor of Sardinia
HE the Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Sheikh Hamad bin Jassim bin Jabor Al Thani met here today with the Governor of Italian autonomous region of Sardinia Ugo Cappellacci on the side lines of the Italian Premier's visit to Qatar.
During the meeting they discussed aspects of cooperation between the two sides and ways to enhance them in different fields. (QNA)
