Doha: The 32nd leadership training course for top-level officers started yesterday at Leaders’ Training Centre at the Police Training Institute. The course will continue till December 13, 2012 which is being atttended by 20 officers from different department of the Ministry of Interior. It is conducted in cooperation with British International College.
The course is held with the aim of providing the officers modern techniques in their field and skills need to mould them as ideal policeman who can deal with rapid changes and keep pace with them combating all forms of crime. As well, it contributes in achieving one of the objectives of the strategy of the Ministry of Interior that is to prepare and qualify human resources to address present and future challenges.
The sessions will cover security concepts needed to raise strategic awareness and qualification of officers to become leaders eligible for the future. The topics wills be covered under three basic themes - self-development, development of others, and leadership and development of teams. the peninsula
