SANAA: Yemeni Prime Minister Mohammed Salem Basendwah met here on Monday with the Secretary-General of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) Dr. Abdul Latif al-Zayani.
During the meeting, the two sides discussed the current situation in Yemen and the efforts undertaken by the government in order to promote security and stability and to continue the economic and social development process in the country.
The GCC Secretary-General emphasized GCC's support for the Yemeni government's intensive efforts to push forward the political and economic reform in the country. (QNA)
