Doha: The Supreme Committee for Delivery & Legacy yesterday expressed satisfaction with the report of the Chairman of the Adjudicatory of FIFA’s Ethics Committee, German Judge Hans-Joachim Eckert, in connection with investigations into Qatar’s bid for 2022 World Cup.
In a statement, the panel said, “We are satisfied with the result reached by Hans-Joachim Eckert as the report notes that we have cooperated fully with investigations. We have always been confident of our position.
“We were always confident of the integrity of our commitment to the highest professional and ethical standards of integrity and maturity.
“We have nothing further to comment on the matter and will continue to focus on delivering a historic FIFA Cup for the first time in the Middle East.”
