Old Doha Port is set to welcome regional and international guests as Qatar hosts the FIFA Arab Cup 2025, offering a lively program of activities and entertainment throughout the tournament. The Port has recently announced a special berthing package for yacht and boat owners sailing to Qatar, which includes exclusive tickets to the FIFA Arab Cup 2025 matches. Supported by its advanced infrastructure and the newly introduced Minakom digital service that allows for streamlined entry and departure, Old Doha Port will serve as a premier destination for luxury yachts, providing an exceptional experience during the tournament. In addition, visitors can enjoy a vibrant Fan Zone experience alongside roaming performances throughout the Mina District.
Old Doha Port will also host Al Majlis, a studio program from Alkass Sports Channel, alongside another Fan Zone in Mina Park, opposite Containers Yard. Mina Park will be fully transformed into an immersive, one-of-a-kind destination, combining entertainment, shows, and family activities. Visitors can also enjoy live match screenings on large screens and experience the games in a dynamic environment. Furthermore, from December 17 to 19, the district will come alive with the Al Rasta Festival, introducing a dynamic cultural celebration that adds a festive spirit to the Port.
During the winter months, the Port becomes a showcase of excellence through flagship events such as the World Arabian Horse Championship Qatar 2025, the Digital Creator Awards, and Polo Al Marsa, enriching the season with world-class entertainment and premium experiences.
National celebrations take center stage within the Port’s seasonal calendar, with Qatar National Day festivities transforming the waterfront into a vibrant gathering place for residents and visitors alike. In recognition of National Sports Day, the Port will also host a diverse range of activities that promote healthy living, encourage physical activity across the community, and raise awareness about the importance of exercise and sports.
Throughout Ramadan, Old Doha Port will continue its beloved traditions through Musaher Al Mina, the Iftar Cannon, Garangao Night, and Wada’a Ramadan. Visitors will also enjoy the Throwback Food Festival, evoking Qatar’s culinary heritage, before the celebrations continue with Eid Al-Fitr and Eid Al-Adha.
Toward the end of the season, anticipation builds for the return of Old Doha Port’s most celebrated signature events. Following the successful turnout of its first edition, the annual Fishing Exhibition and Competition will once again highlight Qatar’s maritime culture, craftsmanship, and community spirit in late March. This commitment is reflected in the Port’s continued support for local competitions that preserve Qatar’s maritime identity and strengthen national expertise.
The season will then continue with the Mina Pre-Owned Boat Show in May, inviting families and marine enthusiasts to explore Qatar’s seafaring heritage and coastal lifestyle through a lively, community-driven showcase. During the event, the Mina Corniche will transform into a dedicated destination for displaying marine equipment at competitive prices and will serve as a platform for reselling marine gear ahead of the summer season.
Through these events, Old Doha Port continues to strengthen its role as one of Qatar’s most dynamic destinations, where culture, sport, and leisure come together along Doha’s iconic waterfront.
