DOHA: The organising committee of the sixth Qatar Falcons and Hunting Festival postponed the first round of Dau competition yesterday due to bad weather conditions. The venue in Sabkhat Marmi in Mesaieed yesterday experienced strong winds and blowing dust which forced the organisers to remove the tents and turn off the generators.
The committee said the decision to defer the contest was to give the same chance to all participants. The first round of Dau has been moved to Friday morning.
