DOHA: Some parts of the country are likely to receive scattered rains today, according to the Meteorology Department.
The Department has also warned of strong dust winds and high seas from today. The rains, most likely to occur in the northern areas of the country, will be accompanied by strong winds by mid-day, the Department said yesterday. “Such rains are usual in February and they do not occur because of any sudden change in weather conditions,” a senior official of department said.
The strong northwesterly winds are expected to cause a slight fall in the temperature over the next three days, especially on Saturday morning, under the impact of the Siberian high, said the Department.
