Doha: The Ministry of Interior celebrated Arab Police Day yesterday in memory of the first conference of Arab Police and Security Chiefs at Al Ain in the UAE in 1972.
The Director General of Public Security Staff Major General Saad bin Jassim Al Khulaifi attended the celebrations at Civil Defence Club auditorium.
Directors of the ministry’s departments, veteran staff at Reserve Force, honourees from Police Force, toppers from police institutes and colleges, honourees from civil community and government authorities and police cadets.
Al Khulaifi honoured veterans from Police Force, Reserved Force, individual and institutions that supported police and toppers form Arab and foreign police institutes and colleges.
