Geneva---UN investigators said Friday there had been an "exponential rise" in war crimes and rights violations in war-torn Syria and criticised the inadequate international response after four years of spiralling violence.
The Commission of Inquiry on human rights in Syria said in a report that there had been an "exponential rise in the perpetration of war crimes, crimes against humanity and human rights violations" in the country.
