DohA: Lekhwiya and Al Shahaniya registered identical 1-0 wins over Al Shamal and Al Wakrak in the 18th round match of the Qatar Stars League (QSL) here yesterday.
Lekhwiya, playing on their home turf, registered their 13th win to take the points tally to 42 points.
Jose Manuel Moreno netted for the defending champions in the 33rd minute to give Michael Laudrup team full points.
In another match at Al Wakrah, Al Shahaniya notched only their fourth win of the QSL season.
Al Shahania, now have 15 points and are in the second last position. Al Wakra have one point more and are in the 12th place in the 14-team league.
Fahad Khalfan Bulushi scored the match winner for Al Shahaniya in the 58th minute.
