Gaza: A Palestinian child was wounded on Friday by Israeli army gunfire north of the Gaza Strip.

The Palestinian news agency WAFA reported that a child was injured by live ammunition fired by Israeli occupation forces in Jabalia Al Balad, north of the Strip.

In a separate development, medical crews in the Gaza Strip recovered the body of a Palestinian who was killed by Israeli fire several days ago near Salah Al Din Street in the Netzarim area in central Gaza.

Israeli warplanes also carried out an airstrike on the Tuffah neighborhood east of Gaza City, while Israeli forces conducted demolition operations east of the Bureij refugee camp in central Gaza.

The death toll from the Israeli offensive on the Gaza Strip has risen to 72,069 people killed and 171,728 injured since Oct. 7, 2023.

The Israeli entity continues to violate the ceasefire agreement that came into effect on October 10, launching ongoing air and artillery strikes across various parts of the Gaza Strip.
