Doha: The President of the Republic of Maldives, Dr Mohamed Waheed Hassan, met at his residence at Ritz-Carlton yesterday a Qatar Chamber delegation led by Mohamed bin Ahmed bin Twar, Deputy Chairman of QC.
QC board members Sheikh Hamad bin Ahmed bin Abdullah Al Thani and Mohamed Juhar Al Mohamed and a number of Qatari businessmen were present on the occasion. They discussed investment opportunities in the two countries and how they could be enhanced.
Waheed Hassan, who arrived in Doha last Sunday, called on the Qatari businessmen to visit Maldives and see for themselves the investment opportunities available there.
