Grade Preparatory graduation ceremony held at DPS-MIS

Grade Preparatory students of DPS-Modern Indian School marked their Graduation Day (2013-14) recently. Hassan Chougule, President, DPS-MIS, was the Chief Guest. Rocky Fernandes, Director Administration, other esteemed guests and parents attended.
Principal Asna Nafees, in her welcome address, mentioned that DPS-MIS, inaugurated in 2001 with 135 students, has embarked on a journey towards success with 5,000 students enrolled. 
Chougule said that the vision and mission of DPS-MIS was to provide a genial, tranquil, secure and natural learning environment to the students so that they could grow into sensitive, responsible, disciplined and balanced human beings. He also announced that the school was collaborating with ‘Edu sports’ to develop well-rounded global citizens. The most awaited moment was the graduation ceremony. The little ones walked the ramp adorned in traditional convocation gowns and caps to receive their scrolls of merit.
Student anchors Janhavi Puranik, Carolyne Alphonsa Thomas, Pooja Rajesh Menon, Sajni Jayanth, Shiven Bhandari, Vamsheedharan Sankarakrishnan, Adil James Thomas, Anas Mushlaque Chougle, Vidushi Devrani and Adira Dey compered the show.
The programme was coordinated by Vimmi Sharma, Activity Coordinator, Prep, and Beena Mohan, Academic Coordinator, Prep, under the guidance of Mou Bera, Head Mistress, Activities.
