Qatar Primary Materials Company (QPMC) held an annual meeting with stakeholders of the gabbro berth terminal recently to share information and engage its clientele on the CO2 footprint at the gabbro terminal and the surrounding businesses. QPMC highlighted the carbon footprint and operational challenges in the aggregate supply chain with a view to collectively solving some of the problems at the point of origin and in the facilitation and handling processes at the gabbro terminal. Commenting on the meeting, Mike Powles, Gabbro Terminal manager at QPMC, said: “The meeting builds a stronger relationship with the relevant stakeholders and the QPMC management will organise more meetings of this kind in future to share information on a regular basis with its stakeholders, who will include delegates from MOE/ MIC and QP’.’
