Ecuadorian Food Festival begins

DOHA: The second edition of Ecuadorian Food Festival opened on Wednesday at the Diplomatic Club.
Hosted by The Diplomatic Club and The Embassy of Ecuador, the festival is aimed at introducing Ecuadorian culture to Qatar and strengthening ties between the two countries.
“Cuisine is one of the best ways to express culture. The Ecuadorian table can become a multicoloured, multi-flavoured and multicultural mosaic. It is my pleasure to invite you to discover the secrets hidden in the kitchen of my country, to get closer to Ecuador, to know the richness of our culture and to visit our beautiful country,” said Ecuadorian Ambassador Kabalan Abi Saab.
Two celebrated experts in Ecuadorian cuisine, Chef Andre Obiol and Chef Juan Jose Aniceto, create masterpieces of the country’s finest food.
“Food is no longer just a humanitarian need in specific times, it is a science and art that sheds light on a country’s culture. At The Diplomatic Club, we are keen on providing different quality services to our cutomers that promote the nature of services offered,” said Director of Sales and Marketing, Haiyan Al Zarzouri.
The festival is expected to attract food enthusiasts and reviewers who have been craving for authentic flavours of Latin America. The festival runs until March 28, from 7pm onwards. THE PENINSULA
