Doha: Foreign Minister H E Dr Khalid bin Mohammed Al Attiyah received yesterday a copy of credentials of Heong Keong, the Ambassador of the Republic of Korea to Qatar. The Foreign Minister wished the new ambassador success in his mission and bilateral relations further development and prosperity.
Doha: Sudanese Foreign Minister Ali Ahmed Karti has received a message from Foreign Minister H E Dr Khalid bin Mohamed Al Attiyah connected with bilateral relations and ways of developing them. The message was handed over by Qatar’s Ambassador to Sudan Rashid bin Abdurrahman Al Nuaimi.
Kuwait: Qatar’s Minister of Labour and Social Affairs H E Abdullah Saleh Mubarak Al Khulaifi has chaired the 49th Coordination Meeting of the GCC Labour Ministers Council, on the sidelines of his participation in the 42nd session of the Arab Labour Conference, currently in session in Kuwait.
The Minister also took part in the opening of the Arab Labour Conference meetings which highlights a number of topics including social dialogue, embodiment of the alliance for the development and operation, the role of social dialogue in promoting social protection, and the settlement of labour disputes.
Doha: Member of the Advisory Council Yousif Rashid Al Khater left for Brussels yesterday to take part in a workshop on the freedom of opinion and expression, and freedom of associations and peaceful assembly.
