Qatar, Burundi sign air transport agreement

Doha: Qatar and the Republic of Burundi yesterday inked the final signature on the Air Transport Agreement which was initialed in March 2010.

The ATA allows the national carriers of both countries to operate 7 weekly passenger and cargo flights through any intermediate or beyond points of their respective territories. The Agreement was signed for the Qatari side by the Chairman of Civil Aviation Authority Abdulaziz Mohamed Al Nuaimi, and for Burundi’s side by the Minister of Transport, Public Works and Equipment Deogratias Rurimunzu. 

Interior Minister 

meets Tunisian PM  

Doha: The Minister of State for Interior Affairs H E Sheikh Abdullah bin Nasser bin Khalifa Al Thani met here yesterday with Tunisia’s Prime Minister Ali Laarayedh. Discussions during the meeting dealt with bilateral cooperation in issues of common interest. 

Meanwhile, the Chief of Staff of the Qatari Armed Forces H E Major General Hamad bin Ali al Attiyah met here yesterday with the Chief of Staff of the Tunisian army Gen Rashid Ammar. 

 

Bahraini official meets Qatari envoy

Manama: The Undersecretary for Regional and GCC Affairs at Bahrain’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs Hamad Ahmed Abdul-Aziz Al Amer met here with Qatar’s Ambassador to Bahrain Sheikh Abdullah bin Thamer bin Mohammed Al Thani. They discussed the implementation regarding the facilitation of trade and investment cooperation between businessmen in the two countries.QNA
