Snoonu launched dedicated S-Charge stations throughout the venue.
Doha, Qatar: As the curtains closed on the 34th edition of the Doha International Book Fair, the numbers spoke for themselves: over 900,000 visitors from all walks of life, more than 515 publishing houses from 42 countries, and an unmatched atmosphere of culture, connection, and discovery.
Amid this record-breaking success, one local name stood out in the digital space — Snoonu. In its second consecutive year as the fair’s official delivery partner, Snoonu not only brought books to readers’ homes, but helped reimagine what a modern book fair could feel like in the digital age.
With thousands of books browsed and delivered via its app, Snoonu enabled readers to access the fair with a simple tap — from anywhere in Qatar. For those who couldn’t attend in person, Snoonu became the bridge between stories and homes.
But this year’s collaboration went even further. Snoonu launched dedicated S-Charge stations throughout the venue, added all book fair activities to its S-City section, and set up a dedicated event stand for community engagement and support. The tent was also the starting point for an inclusive guided tour, bringing together autistic children from the Best Buddies centre to explore the world of books together.
As part of its commitment to community-driven success, to honour the spirit of volunteerism, Snoonu is also planning to celebrate over 300 volunteers through a dedicated recognition initiative to honor the spirit of volunteerism.
Snoonu’s continued involvement in high-profile national events — from the Formula 1 Grand Prix to MotoGP and the Doha Book Fair — reflects the growing trust of local institutions in its ability to digitally transform traditional experiences. This alignment with Qatar National Vision 2030 is not just about technology, but about accessibility, inclusion, and smart civic participation.
