Peugeot sales up 5.7pc in H1

DOHA: Automobile major Peugeot said that its sales worldwide improved by 5.7 percent during the first half of 2014, to 853,000 units helped by strong sales performance in Europe and China. Compared to the first half of 2013, a significant change can be seen in the Brand’s 10 most important markets, reflecting a return to form in certain countries, such as the UK, Spain and Italy. Peugeot confirms the sustained progress in its sales in China, where its growth in the first half of 2014 is nearly three times that of the market.
