WhatsApp to launch App for smartwatches

Doha, Qatar: Meta Platforms announced that WhatsApp will roll out a new app for smartwatches (Wear OS).

The app is compatible with smartwatches running Wear OS 3.

It will allow users to send and receive text and voice messages from the smartwatch on their wrist.

Apple watchOS does not currently have a standalone WhatsApp app
