Cairo: The 113th session of the Conference of Supervisors of Palestinian Affairs in Arab Host Countries kicked off on Sunday at the headquarters of the League of Arab States in Cairo.
Topping the conference's agenda is the financial crisis facing the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA).
Discussions also focused on ways to mobilize support for UNRWA and renew its mandate for another three years, as well as the Arab stance on the agency's strategic evaluation report.
Delegations from Jordan, Syria, Egypt, Lebanon, and the State of Palestine are participating in the conference, along with representatives from the Arab League Educational, Cultural and Scientific Organization (ALECSO) and UNRWA.
