DOHA: The Qatar General Electricity and Water Corporation (Kahramaa) is planning to reward customers who are prompt in payment of water and electricity bills.
Earlier in April, Kahramaa stopped paper bills as well as accepting payment of utility bills at its customer service centres
Customers can now pay bills through Kahramaa’s website (www.km.qa), its call centre (991), Ooredoo and Qatar National Bank self-service machines, and other banks. Bills can be paid from outside Qatar as well. Kahramaa is also in the process of upgrading its services centres that are being linked with ministries and corporations to provide updated data of the customers, Al Sharq reported yesterday.
