Doha: Qatar Malayalees, one of the largest Facebook group of Indian residents from the state of Kerala, organised a blood donation camp recently.
The camp was held at the Blood Donor Center of the Hamad Medical Corporation. Coordinator Bilal said that the event was organized as there was a demand for particular blood groups at the blood banks recently. 139 people donated blood during the camp.
Indian Cultural Center President AP Manikandan and ICBF representatives Santosh Kumar and Juttas Paul were the special guests.
Chief Admin Biju Skaria, Bilal KT, Namshir Baderi, Saleem, Santosh, Arshad, Noufal, Rashid, Irfan and Adarsh provided leadership. Participants in the blood donation camp were given a Privilege Card sponsored by Asian Medical Center.
