Doha: The Unified Triskelion of Qatar (UTQ), a non-profit organization, in cooperation with Hamad Medical Corporation (HMC), is organising a blood donation campaign called "Give blood and keep the world beating".
The blood donation campaign will be held on September 24 (Friday), starting from 7 am at HMC Main Blood Donor Center.
"We are inviting all nationalities to participate in a blood donation campaign to help other people by donating blood and save precious lives," said Eduardo Jr Joaquin, Chairman of Unified Triskelion of Qatar.
Interested donors who wish to participate must bring their valid QID and present a green Ehteraz.
On this latest initiative, Joaquin stated that the blood donation campaign aims to "raise awareness that individuals can save lives and improve the health of others by donating blood."
Since 2011, the Unified Triskelion of Qatar has been organising blood donation campaigns twice a year. This time, the event also sought the participation of McDonald's by providing 100 packs of food for the participants.
