Doha: Hamad Medical Corporation (HMC) will host eminent visiting consultants from various specialities this month as part of efforts to bring experts to Qatar and promote exchange of clinical expertise.
Dr Samir Mattar Gamil, consultant bariatric and metabolic surgeon, will visit HMC on October 22-27; Professor Hartmut Goldschmidt, bone marrow transplant consultant, on October 27-31; Dr Massimo Federico, consultant in breast and ovarian cancer and lymphoma, on October 26-28; Professor Kristian Borg, professor of physical medicine and rehabilitation, from October 27 to November 3; Professor Andrew Burroughs, gastroenterology and liver transplant consultant, on October 27 -31; and Dr Raj Kapoor and Dr Richard Greenwood, consultant neurologists, on October 26.
