DOHA: The Ministry of Environment has removed an unlicensed winter camp in Al Rafa, while it continued to receive applications from citizens seeking a licence.
The ministry has banned people from pitching winter camps without a licence.
Those violating the ban will be blacklisted and not permitted to apply for a licence in the successive years, Al Sharq reported.
Registration for camping will continue until December 17.
Booking for most sites in the coastal areas has been closed except Sealine and Khor Al Udaid.
