Emir sends letter to Jordan King
Amman: H M King Abdullah II of Jordan has received a letter from the Emir H H Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani, dealing with bilateral ties. The letter was handed over by Qatar’s Ambassador Zayed bin Saeed bin Zayed Al Khayareen.

Doha: The Heir Apparent H H Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani sent a cable of condolences to the President of Bangladesh Mohamed Zillur Rahman on the victims of the fire tragedy.
Prime Minister receives message
Doha: The Prime Minister and Foreign Minister H E Sheikh Hamad bin Jassem bin Jabor Al Thani received yesterday a message from Prime Minister of Saint Lucia Kenny Anthony, who is also the Chairman of the Caribbean Community Development Fund (Caricom). The message dealt with bilateral relations.
The Prime Minister also met here yesterday with the Governor of Italian autonomous region of Sardinia Ugo Cappellacci on the side lines of the Italian Premier’s visit to Qatar.
Qatar, Tunisia ink military cooperation deals
Doha: Qatar and Tunisia have signed two military protocol and cooperation agreements to enhance bilateral military relations between the two countries. The agreements were signed by Qatar Armed Forces Chief of Staff Gen Hamad bin Ali Al Attiyah and Tunisian Defence Minister Abdul Karim Al Zubeidi. QNA
