DOHA: Qatar National Library recently in a public lecture provided insights into economic and political situations and forecast for different regions.
‘Global Outlook: Focus on Middle East and Africa’ was delivered by the Economist Intelligence Unit (EIU) Director, Robert Ward. He also shed light on the business environment and opportunities related to growth and investments in the Middle East and Africa.
Ward leads the Country Analysis team at EIU, which boasts some 60 country and industry analysts.
The lecture was well-received by participants who came from different backgrounds but all interested in the global economic outlook.
The lecture offered an in-depth analysis of current global economic situations and made forecasts based on extensive research. It also highlighted opportunities and challenges facing the global economy. The lecture was followed by a question-answer session between Ward and participants.
