Two Manipuri students found dead in Delhi

New Delhi: Two Manipuris, including a PhD scholar and a Delhi University (DU) student, were found dead at their rented homes here, police said yesterday.
In the first incident reported from Kotla Mubarakpur area in south Delhi around 9.30pm Wednesday, the body of Kashung Zingran Kengoo, 33, a PhD scholar from Mumbai’s Tata Institute of Social Sciences (TISS), was found in a pool of blood with his
throat slit.
The body was found on the floor of his rented house by the house owner’s brother who alerted the police.
The door of the victim’s room was ajar and laptop, mobile, purse and other belongings were not missing, said police.
In the second incident, a 22-year-old student of Aurobindo College here was found dead at his rented house in Malviya Nagar yesterday afternoon.
Vihrill Shunni, a second year English student, was sleeping in his room with his friend and brother who woke up to find him dead.
No external injury was found on his body. Shunni too hailed from Manipur. IANS
