NEW YORK: HE Qatar's Permanent Representative to the United Nations Sheikh Mishaal bin Hamad Al Thani hosted a reception ceremony in New York on the occasion of Qatar's National Day.
The ceremony was attended by United Nations Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon and a number of United Nations Secretariat officials.
The ceremony was also attended by President of the sixty-seventh session of the UN General Assembly Vuk Jeremic who is also the former Serbian Foreign Minister, a number of members of the diplomatic corps accredited to the United Nations led by the permanent delegates of the member states of the International Organization, a number American society figures including politicians and businessmen and a number of media representatives accredited to the United Nations as well as a crowd of members of Arab and Islamic community in New York.
