Whirling Dervishes perform a traditional ritual during a ceremony marking the 740th anniversary of the death of Mevlana Jalaluddin Rumi, at Yenikapi Mevlevi Temple in Istanbul, late on Wednesday. Mevlana was an Anatolian philosopher, poet and the father of the Mevlevi sect.
