Action from the Qatar International Short Track Cup which began in Doha yesterday. Skaters from Qatar along with skaters from around the world are taking part in the event. Skaters from Malaysia, India, Turkey and South Korea are taking part. Organised by the Qatar Winter Sports Committee, the inaugural edition of what is to be an annual event aims to elevate the level of Qatari skaters by exposing them to high-level, international athletes.
