Doha: MES Indian School celebrated winter recreation day-camp recently.

The activity was launched on Thursday, where various activities were held.

Among them were Talent Show, Science and Mathematics in daily life, Fireless Cooking, Art and Craft, The Colours of Science, Crafty Wonder, Virtual Tour, New Year Cardmaking, Pictionary, One Minute Challenge, Memory Game, News Reporting, Clay Modelling and Origami.

According to Principal Hameeda Kadar, the one-day activity aims to “instil dynamism and infuse energy and enthusiasm coupled with creativity among students. The winter camp is organised with a prime objective of nurturing talents and creativity among young children.”

Stories and videos about the season emphasising on the importance of caring, sharing and spreading goodness were shown to children.

Meanwhile, the little ones of the Kindergarten section made penguin puppets using hand-shaped cutouts and danced to the winter song along with their puppets.  The Talent Show meanwhile helped in bringing out new and inspiring talents among the youngsters. The virtual tour filled them with delight, while the Colours of Science unfolded the beauty of science.
