Havana - US assistant secretary of state Roberta Jacobson arrived in Cuba Wednesday to lead talks on restoring diplomatic ties, becoming the most senior American official to visit the island in 35 years.
Jacobson, the top State Department official for Latin America, will be heading the US delegation in the second day of talks on Thursday following discussion on migration on Wednesday, a US official said.
