Doha: Qatar Fertiliser Company (QAFCO) has extended its partnership with the Commercial Bank Qatar Masters, Qatar’s flagship golf event.
QAFCO will again sponsor the popular Family Zone during the four-day European Tour event, which starts today at the Doha Golf Club.
QAFCO’s continued sponsorship of the Family Zone on the lawn beside the clubhouse strengthens the event’s family offerings, encouraging kids of all ages to have fun trying out golf and other sports.
Hamed Al Marwani, Chief Administration Officer, QAFCO, and Abdulla Al Raisi, CEO of Commercial Bank, signed the new agreement as QAFCO extended its first venture into golf sponsorship.

This year’s Commercial Bank Qatar Masters features many of the world’s leading golfers, including World No. 2 Henrik Stenson, World No. 5 Justin Rose, World No. 6 Sergio Garcia and four-time Major winner Ernie Els.
Watched by an audience of millions around the world and tens of thousands of event spectators each year, the Commercial Bank Qatar Masters is one of the Middle East’s most prestigious sporting events.
Commercial Bank Qatar Masters tickets are available to purchase now at Virgin Megastores (in stores in Doha and online), Doha Golf Club, and the Doha Rugby FC.
Each ticket purchased entitles the holder to one free return drive to the event at Doha Golf Club by event partner UBER.
