DOHA: The Qatar Exchange down on Thursday 66.75 points or 0.76 percent to 8,734.56 points from the previous closing of 8,801.31 points.
The volume of shares traded fell to 7,247,734 from 9,086,492 Wednesday, and the value of shares decreased to QR268,765,035.89 from QR302,024,613.12 Wednesday.
Among the top losers were Industries Qatar whose share dropped 0.53% to QR169.00, Commercial Bank of Qatar lost 0.26 percent to QR76.30, Qatar Islamic Bank fell 1.30 percent to QR76.00 and Barwa down 1.11 percent to QR26.70.
Today the Qatar Banking and Financial sector lost 0.18 points while the Insurance sector fell 1.11 points. The Qatar industrial sector dropped 0.58 points and the Services sector gained 0.06 points. (QNA)
