Doha: The Minister of Transport H E Jassim bin Seif Ahmed Al Sulaiti opened the Fourth Qatar International Motor Show at the Qatar National Convention Centre yesterday.
The opening ceremony was attended by the Minister of Culture, Arts and Heritage H E Dr Hamad bin Abdulaziz Al Kuwari and a number of officials.
The five-day event is organised by Qatar Tourism Authority in partnership with q.media and Fira Barcelona. The week-long event offers visitors the chance to discover the latest technology in car manufacturing and design and provides a platform for trade professionals to come together. On display will be the latest models and technology in the automotive industry.
The last show was a huge success with over 150,000 visitors. 71 percent visited for the first time and attendees represented 103 countries. QNA
