Doha: The Youth Change Everything Conference, a bi-annual initiative of The Youth Company (TYC), opens today at Youth Hub Qatar with the aim to empower young girls between 16 to 18 years with a two-day workshop and discussion. More than 60 delegates, and over 10 speakers will be attending the conference, which will be divided into two days, “Inspire” and “Action”.
Delegates will be inspired on the first day with series of icebreaker activities as warm ups for the workshops and seminars to come, which will include various challenges that help foster their professional and interpersonal skills, including stress management, public speaking, and networking with other delegates.
The second and last day of YCE will create a more practical platform for the girls to discuss and share innovative ideas, titled “Action”.
The session will venture further on how to plan, execute and analyse the effectiveness of their pitches in the market. These aim to navigate their innovative ideas into realities through constructive evaluations by the panelists.
“TYC strongly believes in the need to empower more and more young Arab women in particular, and in motivating them to claim their rights to leadership, opportunities and choices. In the end, these are aimed at significantly developing the economy and improving prospects for current and future generations,” says Aya Abu Issa, Chief Executive Officer of The Youth Company.
The concept of this year’s Youth Change Everything conference is to connect young female delegates together and share different productive ideas.
